I am very keen that as many people as possible walk the Lancashire Way whether as a complete walk or just in parts. I have therefore put together a series of day walks incorporating each of the 42 Stages which make up the Lancashire Way. These are either circular or give you details of how to return to the start.
If you have a particular area that you wish to explore then please use the Places page – click here http://www.lancashireway.com/lancashire-places/ – to find out which Stage of The Lancashire Way is involved. You will then be able to click through directly to that Stage to see the detail. To find the relevant day walk then please come back to this page and use the links below now that you know which Stage you are looking for.
If you are new to Lancashire or are just not sure where to begin, the Highlights Menu gives you a good starting point. The Places page with the link above rates each place (town or village) with upto 5 stars so that you can see which are best places to visit. In addition the Biggest and Best page gives you what I feel are the best 16 stages on the Lancashire Way – follow this link to view http://www.lancashireway.com/biggest-and-best
At the end of each of the Stages pages are details of the circular day walks applicable to that Stage so you can use the links on the “Biggest and Best” page and the “Place” page to go direct to that Stage and the directions. Alternatively use the three links below for a summary of all the circular/day walks for each of the Loops.
